I went to see this movie in the theater with my buddy, who's a big fan, for some reason. It was nothing but a bunch of cussing and stabbing people who are to stupid to defend themselves. I hate slasher movies. The reason is they're basically only there to show you what happens when stupid people do stupid things and die because because. These are also for people who get a rise out of seeing a knife penetrate someone's body. I'm not saying I'm not human, I'm saying I watch Criminal Minds, which has less of a desensitizing effect, and the police actually usefull (on an FBI level). In this movie, the police are utterly useless, which makes no sense.

I really enjoyed this movie and thought it was quite clever, fun, and self-aware, while also being tragic and entertaining. The original will always be a classic, but this is an amazing sequel. One of the villains definitely had Stu's essence, and there were little references to the original throughout the film, which I thought was great. It was really nice to see a villain from the past return. Overall, a brilliant requel. Can't wait to see the story continue.

I didnt enjoy it as much when i watched it in theaters. But im a scream fan so i bought it on vudu. I absolutely loved it the second time. 1,5,4,2,3 I would've enjoyed more guts. Scream 4 had one of the best kills out of all 5 movies. You should give 5 a try if you havent seen it yet. Sometimes it takes a 2nd watch. Grace and peace, Jacob T Brown.
