About this movie

The original star-studded cast reunites a decade later in this spine-chilling fourth installment of the $300M-grossing Scream franchise. Sydney Prescott (Neve Campbell of THE CRAFT), now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey (David Arquette of NEVER BEEN KISSED) and Gale (Courtney Cox of TV's FRIENDS), who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill (Emma Roberts of VALENTINE'S DAY) and her Aunt Kate. Unfortunately Sidney's appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends (including Hayden Panettiere of TV's HEROES), and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger. Legendary director Wes Craven (A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET) "guides us expertly down a series of blind, bloody alleys" (Slate Magazine).

Most "reboots" arn't good like for example Prom Night the movie wasn't suspenseful at all. The why killing spree was a crapy reason why it occur *Spoilers don't read if you didn't watch the movie* the reason why the killing spree happen because they want to be famous like Sidney but the killing spree in Scream 1-3 have a real reason why they want sidney dead *Spoilers are over* if they make Scream 5 I hope they did better then Scream 4

When Rob Zombie remade Halloween, I thought he did great. It was so good, and still pretty much followed the original one. I know it probably wouldn't be the same if Kevin Williamson didn't make Scream 4, but they should have let Rob Zombie make Scream 4. So it would have actually been scary. They could have blown us out the water with this one, but to me, it was more of a horror-comedy. Scream was one of my favorite horror movies growing up. They ruined it with this one.

If you watched 1-3, there is no reason to watch this. It is pretty much the same (because it's a reunion film) as the first 3 movies. Totally predictable. I laughed the whole way thru it. What a disappointing end to a great trilogy.
