I met some South African surfers in 1999 and they told me about Rodriguez. What a magical story. Maybe one day we'll all be stars in a place we know nothing about. As for Rodriguez; the music is good; the man is beautiful.

Introduced to me through my big sister's very cool boyfriend, Rodriguez's Cold Fact was the soundtrack of my youth. In my teenage years, I included many of his songs on a mixed tape for my girlfriend to whom i have been married now for 22 years. Tonight we sat and watched Searching For Sugarman. Watching this beautifully constructed story brought back so many memories - sad and happy ones. This movie left us amazed and elated.
