A gripping tale about a child chess prodigy, who's Father pushes too hard for his kid too succeed, & the people they surround him with. A tale to learn not too push your child too far, even if their the best in the world at something, they still need to be a kid first!

You don't have to play chess to enjoy this well made story about where a child's motivation must come from. If you do play chess even better! Also read the book. Look for actual characters and chess notables intermixed with the star studded cast.

The actors and the story make for one of the best movies to ever be made, a classic that you can watch again and again. I haven't seen it in about 10 years and still loved it when I finally found it to watch again 😍
