Susan Lucci and John James star as a young couple who are celebrating their anniversary by taking a trip to a quaint colonial town with two of their closest friends. They stay in an old inn, where Karen (Lucci) feels mysteriously drawn to the back room and in particular to a mirror and a portrait of an eighteenth century barmaid. It transpires that the barmaid was hanged 200 years ago for killing her lover. Karen has strange dreams and before long the spirit of the sultry colonial barmaid appears in the full- length mirror in their room. The spirit possesses her and orders that she murder her husband. Can the strength of her love overcome the evil possession and save him from death?
