Aathimoolam (Vijay Sethupathy) is a stage artiste. His only interest in life is stage plays. He collapses and dies on stage after a memorable performance. Even after his death, his spirit helps his family and drama troupe members. He was never interested about movies when he was alive but he ventures into the Film industry after his death. He helps many people and gets praised by his fans. As a spirit, whether is able to survive in the film industry or not is the rest of the movie.
