Will Ferrell stars in Semi-Pro, an outrageous comedy set in 1976 against the backdrop of the maverick ABA a fast-paced, wild and crazy basketball league that rivaled the NBA and made a name for itself with innovations like the three-point shot and slam dunk contest. Ferrell plays Jackie Moon, a one-hit wonder who used the profits from the success of his chart-topping song "Love Me Sexy" to achieve his dream of owning a basketball team. But Moons franchise, the Flint Michigan Tropics, is the worst team in the league and in danger of folding when the ABA announces its plans to merge with the NBA. Just goes to show you ...you can make a bad movie about a white basketball player who's bad at everything and people are still giving it 4 stars and up ... Really? Good movies on here about basketball players who actually can play AND actually can act and all they do is criticize it!

The movie will not play, have restarted phone, relogged into acount and the movie just won't load. The worst part is there is no refund option.

All these people on here saying it’s a bad movie thinking y’all some movie critics. It’s silly, has Andre 3000, a bunch of other hilarious guys (all friends in real life), with fun and light dialogue. And yes I agree IT IS A STUPID MOVIE. It’s not supposed to be anything but that. It wasn’t made to win best picture. Y’all need to stop warning people bout saving their money. YOU should’ve watched a trailer before spending YOUR money. Acting like you’re saving people when you’re just butt hurt.
