I love the way this is presented (archival footage throughout, no talking heads) but felt that there was little in the way of personal insight or connection to Senna as a person.

The longer version is the definitive version of the film, and as a fan I would say only get that version, because you miss so much more of the story. This version is excellent, but true fans should search out the longer version, as it covers so much more. But still a great film

One of the few documentaries to give insight into the human relationships involved: the story is woven between Senna, Prost and Ron Dennis.
