Beautifully shot story of coming of age and obsession that takes a dark turn. Despite the darkness throughout, there are many moments of kindness and redemption. The filmmakers commendably resist the urge to turn a young character trying to figure out his sexuality into a victim, preferring to show his agency in navigating a potentially scary and dangerous online cruising scene in Sydney, Australia.
