About this movie

Following ecological disaster, a family from Earth do what they must to survive on a desolate Mars homestead. But when strangers appear in the surrounding hills and attempt to run them off, nine-year-old Remmy (Brooklynn Prince) catches a glimpse of the desperate reality her parents, Reza (Jonny Lee Miller) and Ilsa (Sofia Boutella), have tried so hard to keep from her.

Ratings and reviews

Lots of potential but sadly never lives up to it. It's pretty okay at what it does, but there are just too many parts of this that could have been better explored, and exploited. Too straight to be a thriller, and too unreal to be a drama. It just falls into the gaps between genres without actually fulfilling any of your requirements as a viewer. Sadly a lost opportunity.

Not big sci-fi but more of an exploration of what it may be like growing up human in a very isolated world.

Complete waste of time!
