Tony Curtis and Natalie Wood star as the editor of a scandal magazine and the beautiful young psychologist and author for whom he will resort to almost anything to get an interview about her best-selling novel, Sex and the Single Girl. In this hilarious sex-comedy romp, editor Bob Weston (Curtis) impersonates his best friend, unhappily married Frank (Henry Fonda), and pretends to be suicidal over his unhappy marriage in order to get an appointment with Dr. Helen Brown (Wood). But when Bob and Helen start to fall in love--despite their best attempts not to--and Helen insists on meeting Frank's wife, a comedy of errors and mistaken identities twists into a hilarious knot in this happy farce.
