An absolute hidden gem. Just like 'From Dusk Till Dawn' before it, Shadow in the Cloud starts off as one type of movie before turning into a very different beast part way through. Beginning as a taught, claustrophobic thriller, the matinée pulp plot soon twists wildly, spinning out into over the top action, and finally becoming pure fantasy in the last act. Unfairly dismissed by some internet idiots as 'Feminazi-propaganda' on it's initial release, This fun and inventive little indie mash-up, punches way above it's modest budget to create an entertaining 'Spielbergian' yarn, that boast a gutsy female protagonist ALIEN'S Ripley would be proud of. A worthy rental for a rainy day.
