What a pathetic movie. It had no semblance of reality. Shaka was never captured by a slaver! And never escaped. This is some sort of pathetic attempt to elevate Shaka and the Zulus, making them out to be conquerors of the British when in fact they were only paramount among South African tribes. Had he fought the British, Shaka would have been wiped out like his great great grandson, Cetewayo. Was this written by some black American looking for “heritage”?
