The story brings Alan Ladd, a drifter and retired gunfighter, to the assistance of a homestead family terrorized by a wealthy cattleman and his hired gun (Jack Palance). I been watching this movie since high school and still watch it today. I grew up with Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Durango Kid, Long Ranger etc and I like a lot of western movies but when it comes up in a conversation I would say SHANE is the best of ALL, being black my father was my role model until I found out that Sammy Davis Jr was the fastest gun in Hollywood and at 79 I still practice quick draw.🤗🤗🤗

Never experienced a movie quite like this one. .. just listening to the theme music, takes me to a happy place
