시무 리우는 마블 스튜디오의 '샹치와 텐 링즈의 전설'에서 잊고 있던 자신의 과거를 마주하고, 위험한 테러 단체인 텐 링즈의 수장인 아버지와도 맞서야 하는 샹치 역할을 맡았다. 아콰피나는 샹치의 친구인 케이티를 연기했고, 멩어 장, 진법랍, 플로리안 문티누도 출연한다. 양자경과 양조위는 잉난과 쑤 웬우 역을 맡아 열연을 펼친다. '샹치와 텐 링즈의 전설'은 데스틴 대니얼 크레턴이 감독하고, 케빈 파이기와 조너선 슈워츠가 제작했으며, 루이스 데스포시토와 빅토리아 알론소, 찰스 뉴어스가 총괄 제작하였다. 각본은 데이브 캘러햄, 데스틴 대니얼 크레턴, 앤드루 래넘이, 스크린 스토리는 데이브 캘러햄과 데스틴 대니얼 크레턴이 담당했다.

평가 및 리뷰

I might've given it 2.5* but Google wouldn't let me. The sidekick character was surprisingly un-annoying and provided most of the laughs in the movie--for which there's a lot, and are probably the best upside to the movie. Great fight choreography is ruined by garishly obvious CGI. The CGI is just insultingly bad. When they reach Ta Lo, it looks like a Skittles commercial FFS. There's a LOL moment that reminded me of The Neverending Story and I couldn't shake it. Just disappointing overall.

I liked parts of the film but as a whole; it simply wasn't my cup of tea. The Matrix meets Crouching Tiger/Hidden Dragon. The father son dynamic was interesting to see. You don't get much of a clear "father bad guy/son good guy" thing. Unfortunately the little sister daughter who feels left out is exactly that in throughout movie. I almost thought she'd have a better place in Black Widow as a widow or in Ant-Man 3 ally or enemy to Wasp

The visuals of this movie are breathtaking. The choregraphy during the fight scenes was so beautilfully put together and was unlike anything I've seen. The plot moved at the perfect pace while still mainting room to build suspense, the storyline was easy to understand and follow. Even though this is the first movie with Shang-chi and a few other characters, connections to them have already been built. Marvel set a new bar for themselves that I assume is now too high.
