Liam (Ken Leung, Lost) is a struggling Chinese American actor dividing his time between picking up beautiful, plastic girls in Hollywood bars and struggling to make sense of his shallow existence. Liam's only real friendships are with his buddy, Joe (Joel David Moore, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story), a writer who hasn’t written a damn thing and a flirtatious relationship with 16 year old Adelaide (Hayden Panettiere, Heroes), a precocious high school girl who is actually more mature than Liam himself. Then, a surprise inheritance and a trip to Shanghai change everything....
