About this movie

Arriving at her family's Louisiana lake island cabin, Sara and her friends quickly strip down to their swimsuits for a weekend of fun in the sun. But when star football player Malik stumbles from the salt-water lake with his arm torn off, the party mood quickly evaporates. But as they set out in a tiny speedboat to get Malik to a hospital, their worst fears are about to surface - the lake has been stocked with hundreds of massive, flesh-eating sharks and getting back to dry land is going to be the fight of their lives. 2011 Incentive Film Productions, LLC, All Rights Reserved.

Shark Night fails to be original as it over relies on cliches, lacks character development and speaking of characters, the villain (played by Chris Carmack) has petty motives for the slightest thing along with Sara Paxtons character seeming idiotic and bland for most of the part. If it weren't for her character, none of this would have happened.

This movie I feel is the pinnacle of modern day shark movies when you compare it to things like red water and shark in venice (WTF) overall I could probably compare it to the Jaws of the 21st century which is a bold statement but I truly do think of it like that.
