About this movie

It is known as S-11, a diabolical hybrid of shark and octopus created by genetic scientist Nathan Sands (Eric Roberts of TV's HEROES, THE DARK KNIGHT), and it is the U.S. Navy's next super-weapon. But when its control implants are damaged during a training experiment, the beast escapes to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for a taste of sun, sand, bikini babes, jet-skiers, spring breakers, and beyond. Now a hotshot mercenary, an investigative reporter, and Sands' biomechanical engineer daughter must stop a creature like none ever witnessed before. It has superior intelligence, attacks without warning, and it likes to snack on bungee jumpers.

This is a good example of what Syfy is doing to the movie industry. The acting was atrocious. Everyone acted like they were either, blind, deaf, or extremely retarded. And the CGI used to make Sharktopus come to life was HORRIBLE. I'd recommend "Godzilla vs Hedorah" over this crap. If you want to watch this abomination, get drunk or high. Otherwise....KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!

This is one of those rubbish 'TV movies' that is not worth it. If u want to watch a PROPER Shark film, watch JAWS. WAY BETTER AND WAY SCARIER. U can tell this is a rubbish film because, it has NO A star actors, the ones in this are all like Z star actors, I'VE NEVER EVEN HEARD OF ANY OF EM! Also, the FX are absolutely crap, you can tell that it's done on computer. Whereas in JAWS, they used a mechanical shark, so it was real, and LIVE SHARK FOOTAGE! Yeah you'll never see LIVE footage of SHARKTOPUS will u?

Yet another waste of digital space! How does the SyFy channel get away with such tripe?! This kind of material is something I'd expect to see in a day care if it weren't for all the gore. They make these movies on an ongoing basis, and yet, they manage to stay ON the air, (which for my part, is the greatest mystery of all) who watches this junk? Retarded advertising agents? The entire cast of COPS? If anyone over the age of 12 enjoys their films, I'd like to shake their hands!
