Bob Lee Swagger (Mark Wahlberg), a former Marine Corps sniper who leaves the military after a mission goes bad. After he is reluctantly pressed back into service, Swagger is double-crossed again. With two bullets in him and the subject of a nationwide manhunt, Swagger begins his revenge, which will take down the most powerful people in the country.

Mark Wahlberg is impossible not to be drawn in by, even if he's playing a very cliche tough guy big heart role. At least it's not the Rock. Wahlberg makes this movie, along with all stars like Ned Beatty

I enjoyed the movie but then for decades I watch or buy only those with actors I really like, I won't watch a movie with a bunch of unknowns, but that's me...if any movie appears to be too unrealistic I just won't watch again but this one kept my interest...

Read the book series by Stephen Hunter and then watch the movie... Movie was good, great acting and follows the story line fairly well with a few minor changes. When I read the book however, I always pictured Tom Berrenger from Sniper as playing Bob Lee Swagger.
