SHOOTING DEATH is a first of its kind film. A reality based feature shot entirely on a Flip Mino HD camcorder.
What if, one evening, you accidentally videotape a horrific event... a murder? Subsequently, you take it to the police, route the footage through proper channels and still no one will listen. There is, however, one person who does believe you -- the killer. How do you protect the ones you love when no one else cares?
Mark McAdams (Rich Scheirmann) loves his family more than anything. When his oldest daughter, Harmony (Harmony Scheirmann), has a school project about the moon, he happily offers to take her to the park. That evening, his entire world turns upside-down. SHOOTING DEATH chronicles Mark's story as he tries to piece together what he saw, convince someone to believe him and keep his family safe. Mixing in video blogs with live footage of his journey to expose a killer, Mark details everything that occurs after the shooting. After continuous attempts to get someone to listen and after posting several segments online, one person starts paying attention. Anthony DeMarco (Todd Porter) will do anything to keep his story buried and his only obstacle is a CPA with a Flip Camera.
