An ambitious reality show producer goes to unthinkable lengths all in the name of ratings and drama in this satirical look at Reality TV. Fed up with how staged and phony reality shows are, reality show producer, Mickey Wagner (Adam Rifkin) hatches a revolutionary idea to pick an average family and put them under all-encompassing surveillance… without the family's knowledge. One major set-back: the family is boring. Under pressure from the studio, Mickey starts to introduce drama into the unwitting family's lives. Temptation to cheat, drinking, work problems... soon enough chaos ensues. Everything unravels in a big, big way with shocking consequences. I can't tell you how much I love this movie. Its so comedically dark (not sure why Google has it pegged as a drama??), twisted and brilliant. It ask the question, What if you were the subject of a reality show without your knowledge? In this case, it's a very nice family who has their lives turned upside down by a maniacal TV producer who will do anything for ratings....anything. The ending will leave you stunned, but don't take my word for it...watch it for yourself.
