Number 5, one of a group of experimental military robots, undergoes a sudden transformation after being struck by lightning. He develops self-awareness, consciousness, and a fear of the reprogramming that awaits him back at the factory. It's a fun movie, with a fairly predictable plot. It's genius is the zany Johnny Five robot character who never fails to get a laugh from the young at heart.

It's great fun and innocent too. Something the world and movies are truly lacking these days.

Great for those who enjoy robot movies, such a cheeky one.
