A new-wave Malayalam thriller, written and directed by theatre playwright Joy Mathew. The film is a satire about Indian laborers working in Gulf and this film is one such story of a laborer goes through different emotions while being locked behind a shutter. Rasheed (Lal) is a laborer working in Gulf, decides to return to his native place to partake and make arrangements for his daughter Nila's (Riya Saira) engagement. He has even thought of starting a business in his one room shop which is not rented yet. Incidentally, this room is a meeting place for Rasheed and his friends, where they bond over drinks every night. After, one such drunken party night, he comes across a prostitute (Sajitha Madathil) at a bus stop in bizarre circumstance. Instantly drawn to her, his friend Nanmayil Suran (Vinay Forrt) suggests they hook up in the one room shop, while he fetches some food. Ensuring to down the shutter and lock it up from outside. However, he along with his traveler Manoharan (Sreenivasan), a film maker who dreams to make it big in the film industry, are arrested for drunk driving that makes Rasheed with Thankam (prostitute) locked inside the shutter for two days and one night. During this misdemeanor, Rasheed realizes the real value of the life, and he slowly understands that his beliefs may not be correct.
