It’s a story about poverty and obstacles in life. One day, a speeding car ran a red light and hit Ah Qiang and his 5 years old sister Hui Shan. Hui Shan passed away during the accident. Ah Qiang wishes badly to see Hui Shan but Hui Shan was actually an abandoned infant adopted by his mother and no supported documents to proof their actual relationship. This accident then leads to 24 hours of involuntarily situation. Ah Qiang’s mother Li Jun is having schizophrenia and is on long term medication. Ah Qiang has to take care of his mother and looks for the proof to take his sister’s body out of the hospital, also under huge pressure from all aspects at the same time. The story continues with focusing on how Ah Qiang is handling all the challenges in his life.
