Very boring and slow. At least the first movie gave a reason as to why the main characters went on the mission all the way to the very end. This storyline about the main characters going after people they thought were responsible for a bombing that just fell flat especially when the real reason was finally given as to why they were told to cancel, due to a mistake. Instead this movie (looks as if it tried to save itself from the earlier route choice it set itself) takes a new different reason as to why the characters (weather main or not) stayed connected or at least it tried to stay connected to each other's storyline. Too many flaws too many questions...Spoiler Alert... Why did Benicio del Toro's character let the girl live rather than kill her just like he did the two little boys in the first movie. All three children belonged to a drug bosses? How did Toro's character know who shot him (he was blindfolded at the time when it happened) and didn't see who was and not to mention at the shooting place which was almost pitch black? How did he find the kid who shot him? How is it possible that at the ambush the three main good guy vehicles were not blown up but the person(s) blowing up the bad guys vehicles at the ambush was killed by Toro's character and why especially when it looked like that guy was assisting them on blowing up the bad guys vehicles? Too many flaws too many questions.

An action adventure that is at the same time just flat out depressing. I wouldn't mind that, in fact, it's true to life that way, except for the weird plot holes and lack of logic. Things are done just to move the plot along. which I could allow in the kind of action-adventure where nothing is realistic, but I can't overlook here. And the ending. Oh, the terrible ending. Okay with some beer and pretzels, but prepare to be both depressed and annoyed.

A movie that went up against the many praises of the first movie, I find it to still give. While the land of good morality that is Kate, played by Emily Blunt, isn't in the film, we ended up diving into the nothing good world of Matt (Brolin) and Alejandro (del Toro) more deeper. We get new subplots in the arcs of the Cartel Boss's daughter, who was able to use her father's power until the real world was splattered onto her face and a Boy who takes the dangerous route to gain $. The score rocks.
