When young co-ed Scotty is unable to find housing on campus, she moves into the Engels’ mansion, a boarding house for college students. Mrs. Engels and her son seem nice, but it quickly becomes clear to Scotty that something is amiss.

One of the all-time great horror movies...or at least one of the very best of the 80s. Ok, it's from '79 but I first saw it in '80 or '81 and it's stuck with me ever since. From the super cool/creepy house, the bleak ending and the superb cast (Rebecca Balding, Cameron Mitchell, Yvonne De Carlo, Barbara Steele, Avery Schreiber...) this is what horror movies are all about! Underseen, underrated and deserving your attention! So good!
