After the disapointments of modern movies this was so refreshing. action/adventure comedy with a love story, first half is more set up and romance/mystery and the latter half is action adventure comedy. I liked how the story is linear and compelling from the start and how it moved being one style and fluently moving to another genre. Gene Wilders and Richard Pryors chemistry is instant and seriously funny. There is no cgi or political correctness. They really don't make 'em how they used to
