À propos de ce film

In the year 2020, Elias van Dorne (John Cusack), CEO of VA Industries, the world’s largest robotics company, introduces his most powerful invention--Kronos, a super-computer designed to end all wars. When Kronos goes online, it quickly determines that mankind, itself, is the biggest threat to world peace and launches a worldwide robot attack to rid the world of the “infection” of man.
Sixty years later, a small band of humans remain alive but on the run from the robot army. A teenage boy, Andrew (Julian Schaffner) and teenage girl, Calia (Jeannine Wacker), form an unlikely alliance to reach the mythical land of Aurora, where it is rumored mankind exists without fear of robot persecution. But does Aurora actually exist? And will they live long enough to find out?

This is probably one of the crappiest "should have been great" movies I've ever seen. The knockoff Katniss was very disappointing, and so much of her acting and narration was off. She had an accent only about half the time. The props and costumes were all brand new looking despite this taking place in the post-apocalypse. The writing and lines were sometimes laughable. It doesn't take much to please me with movies, but this one did almost everything wrong.

This is a very under appreciated movie because it’s difficult to understand. If you watch movies to be entertained for 90 minutes, this is not your cup of tea. This story builds on the world that the Wachovsky siblings introduced us to with the “Matrix” and “Cloud Atlas”. It’s very well written, but probably not well understood by the actors either. I loved it, and didn’t mind spending my money on it even if it’s available on Netflix.

One of those movies that have unrelated and nonsensical things happen that make you say "That makes no sense at all!" Don't waste your money.
