A group of 40-something men, all on the verge of a mid-life crisis, decide to form their local pool's first ever all-male synchronized swimming team. Braving the skepticism and ridicule of those around them, the group set out an unlikely adventure.

Kind of the same idea as "The Full Monty" except instead of a strip club, it's a pool. And I'd watch anything with Mathieu Amalric. Very entertaining.

Both the comedy and “serious” messaging of this movie are great. I applaud the airline that streams Sink Or Swim for its Los Angeles-to-Paris passengers and only hope in the States (and countries other than “French language” ones), this movie receives much publicity, something I wish also for Deniz Gamze Ergüven and Charles Gillibert’s 2015 Turkish language movie “Mustang.” Sink Or Swim being a “comedy” unlike the “dramatic” Mustang, its gender stereotype juxtapositioning may make it palatable to intersex and binary viewers and having one of its lead actors a feisty person in a wheelchair unusual and welcome.
