Coming of Age Adventure based on Ann Brashares' best-selling novel about a special 16th summer in the lives of four lifelong friends who are separated for the first time. On a shopping trip, the girls find a pair of thrift-shop jeans that fits each of them perfectly and they decide to use these "magic" pants as a way of keeping in touch over the months ahead, each girl wearing the jeans for a week to see what luck they bring her before sending them on to the next. he finale goes on and on, but the movie is nicely photographed and duly empowering, and should please the vast teen-girl audience for which it's intended.

4 very talented actresses deliver a sweet and tender look into the bond of sisterhood. Their friendship is deep and although the "traveling pants 👖" may seem fantasy-like, going through the reality of coming-of-age, family/drama, love, independence, creativity, perseverance and such are not so easy but through the love and support of a family of friends means the world. Again, well acted.

It's the best! It tells a wonderful story. It has its ups & downs, but all of the characters learn about love. They are all unique in their own ways & they accept each other for their differences. Some of it is different than the book, but still well done.
