Coming of Age Adventure based on Ann Brashares' best-selling novel about a special 16th summer in the lives of four lifelong friends who are separated for the first time. On a shopping trip, the girls find a pair of thrift-shop jeans that fits each of them perfectly and they decide to use these "magic" pants as a way of keeping in touch over the months ahead, each girl wearing the jeans for a week to see what luck they bring her before sending them on to the next. 4 very talented actresses deliver a sweet and tender look into the bond of sisterhood. Their friendship is deep and although the "traveling pants 👖" may seem fantasy-like, going through the reality of coming-of-age, family/drama, love, independence, creativity, perseverance and such are not so easy but through the love and support of a family of friends means the world. Again, well acted.

It's the best! It tells a wonderful story. It has its ups & downs, but all of the characters learn about love. They are all unique in their own ways & they accept each other for their differences. Some of it is different than the book, but still well done.

Reminds me of my good times as a kid when this movie first came out. Me and my sister went crazy about these movies and books! <33
