this movie was not Oscar worthy, but Mr. Sarris chill. yes it's flawed and silly at times. But it brought back memories of the Saturday morning rituals, wake up, wash up for breakfast, clean our room and do our chores and run like hell to get inside for the opening of Superman the animated series.it seemed as if the director did a reverse screen exposed, Film all exterior shots, expose that film.then project onto the screen then actors did their roles on the opposite side. If they did a series I would be first in line. .

Whoever green-lighted this crap should be banned from Hollywood for 20 years. Before they shot this movie, the producer must been stinking rich, because it seems clear they didn't care whether they made their film investment money back or not. If you purposely rent this film I really hope you like it a lot. Just in case, keep a bottle of Crown Royal nearby.

Sky Captain is a typical radio and tune into next week as we find out how he escaped. Yes, they brought 1940s Saturday morning show, that deals with espionage, villains, and damsel in stress to the big show. Watching this brought back memories of my Grandfather talking about excited he was to find specific shows on VHS at the public library, and we would sit watching every exciting hour. Nice 2 movie binge Sky Captain, and Shadow
