Sobre este filme

Only Stephen King, the dark genius behind Misery, The Shining and Pet Semetary, could have written Stephen King's SLEEPWALKERS, a classic horror story that takes a perfect Norman Rockwell town and turns it inside out. Brian Krause and Alice Krige star in this terrifying tale of modern-day vampires who prey on virtuous young women. Madchen Amick is the sexually curious virgin who falls for the newboy in school (Brian Krause), only to learn too late that he's a life-sucking Sleepwalker. Mutatingat will from golden boy to savage monster, Krause stalks Amick to feed his seductive mother. As thetension mounts (and the casualties pile up), the town's tabbies gather for a final, chilling showdown with the monsters in their midst - and we all know it's not nice to hurt people's felines... Withcameo appearances by Stephen King and Clive Barker. MPAA Rating: R © 1992 Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc. All Rights Reserved.

Some parts were better then others. The boy's two personas don't quite gel together. He supposedly starts to fall in love with this girl, which upset the mother, who is having an incestuous relationship with her son! Well, they are cats I guess, but in the next instance he decides to devour her. Then the rest of the movie is her almost getting eaten. With a very predictable, boring ending (just has a lot of secondary characters dying in horrible ways.) I did like the cameo from the author Stephen King.

Stephen King book adaptions can either be brilliant ( IT / Carrie / The Mist) or just plain bad (Tommyknockers / Silver Bullet / Langoliers) but this one kinda falls in the middle. Would love to see The Stand on Google Play as well as the other movies mentioned above, just so people can see the wider volume of his work. Also when are we going to see 4K HD versions being made available? But at least Google are consistent,as you see bugger all Clive Barker movie adaptions as well. Hello Google? Anyone listening???
