Tim Burton deftly directs Johnny Depp in a superb gothic slasher-horror-thriller, even if it bares little resemblance(beyond the title and setting) to Irving's source material.

It is not scary but interesting and has a big twist at the end you'll love it

Christopher Walken is awesome too.
