One of my all time favs for sure! Billy Bob Thorton out did himself on this one! Directed and starred in this movie. He actually trans-forms (almost physically) his self into this character that seems like he is going to do harm any second now. Edge of seat movie for me.

I gave this movie 4 stars because it deserves every last one of them too! I enjoyed Sling Blade, and I thought Billy BoB Thonton did an exceptional job as this mentally challenged murderer. Big ups to SlingBlade....

This is the best movie ever to star Billy Bob Thornton, Dwight Yoakam, and John Ritter. This is Luke Mooney and my mother Candy, sister Jessica Armbrester, and I hate that ole Doyle Hargraves, played by Dwight Yoakam.
