Um þessa kvikmynd

A race-car driver named Bandit (Burt Reynolds) makes a bet that he can transport an illegal shipment of beer from Texas to Atlanta in under 28 hours. Along the way, he picks up an unwilling bride-to-be (Sally Field), furthering his chances of being arrested. It turns out her future father-in-law is Sheriff "Smokey" Justice (Jackie Gleason), and his boy is waiting for her at the altar. A car chase ensues as Smokey scours the South in pursuit of Bandit.

Howdy lady! Smokey and the bandit is a silly fun movie to watch. This movie does have some really funny moments, a whimsical & interesting score, it has great road-roaring stunts & a really interestingly good storyline. My issues with this movie is that some of the dialogue does not make sense like 1 is 2 at the beguining of the film (about numbers), & the thing that confused me is that i don't know what the characters are going for: is smokey/justice the bad guy or just a regular cop?, & is bandit the good guy or the guy that breaks the law? & some of the performance's of smokey/justice is wobbly & a little weak. overall: a silly/funny, stunt-filled, fun comedy to watch.

I watch this movie all the time with my dad. It never gets old, its a classic. Both me and my dad know every word. I just love it!!!!!! My favorite part is either when snowman runs over the bikes with his truck or when Buford T. Justice of texas says "The first thing I'm gonna do when I get home home is punch your mama in the mouth 😂😂

I own the movie. I love all of the characters/actors and actresses. I love big rigs. I was born in 1963. The mid 70s were the cb era. I was part of it. I have a cb radio in my jeep today. I love the soundtrack that goes to it all sung by Jerry Reed.
