Über diesen Film

From the Producer of Alice in Wonderland comes a new vision that turns a legendary tale into an action-adventure epic. The evil Queen Ravenna (Academy Award winner Charlize Theron) will rule forever if she can take the life of Snow White (Kristen Stewart), so she dispatches the Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) to track her down. But the wicked ruler never imagined that the Huntsman would train the girl to become a brave warrior, skilled in the art of war. Filled with intense battles and spectacular visual effects, Snow White & the Huntsman is a thrilling experience that "shouldn't be missed" -- Shawn Edwards, Fox-TV.

Is is definitely worth watching for the sublime cinematography and cgi but Kristen is not snow white, not passionate or emotive enough. Hemsworth is basically doing his Thor routine in rags. The dwarfs are not real dwarfs but well known full size actors CGI,d to look small. Whoever thought that would be a good idea should be fed to the troll. Charlize Theron is pure smoking hotness as usual but her acting abilities were being pushed a little far for this role. Not bad as a whole though.

Laughable that the female lead who plays snow white was a) chosen to play snow white because her acting is wooden, b) that her beauty was suppose to outshine the queen, who was so beautiful that snow white paled in comparison. The most annoying thing was that snow white was kissed awake by the henchman, what was the point of that if she's not going to marry him. No real true love kiss. The dwarfs were so irritating, they were not cute or adorable, just irritating.

Appalling acting from both Chris Hemsworth and Kristen Stewart (a wooden door has a greater emotional range). Storyline a complete travesty of a classic fairytale. No redeeming features whatsoever. People sing and crow about Charlize Theron's performance, which I thought was also very mediocre. Don't understand how people have given this nonsense five stars.
