After a failed global-warming experiment, a post-apocalyptic Ice Age has killed off nearly all life on the planet. All that remains of humanity are the lucky few survivors that boarded the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe, powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine. A class system has evolved aboard the train, fiercely dividing its population-but a revolution is brewing. This movie lead me down the wonderful world of foreign actors and directors. Though this film is in English, I was recommended other films such as Old boy, Parasite and Thirst. I give Snowpiercer 2 Thumbs up and a 4 star rating.

Baby's first social commentary, drawn out into two excruciating hours of pointless action sequences and perfunctory character "development", topped at the end with a reveal so ham-fisted, it would make Shyamalan proud.

What a ridiculous movie. Extremely weak plot and a tired repackaged social commentary inside a train. Dumb.
