I honestly wasn't severely disturbed by this film. It had only one scene that made me a little uncomfortable (the brother rape scene), but after all the commotion people made, there wasn't anything as gnarly that I haven't seen in Hollywood "horror" movies. It was brutally honest and it almost felt personal. I enjoyed this little Aussie film and how it was filmed in a true location (which happened to be up the street from my mum). It brings to light some real issues which people need to be aware of.

If you are looking for a Hollywood style movie, then you will be disappointed as it has no high speed chases, no romantic scenes, etc. However, if you want a movie based on real life events and filmed/acted as real people talk and act, then this movie will be one of those that you will enjoy. Based on a true story, there are moments when you will flinch, but you will walk away thinking 'this could be my neighbourhood'.
