Five friends reunite for a wedding in the Caribbean. The day before the ceremony they go out on a boat to party and accidentally head into shark infested waters. Now they must face their fears and fight for survival in the open waters.

Definitely not a cheap thrill movie despite the ridiculous movie poster. The sharks add a high level of tension throughout the 2nd act of the movie but the main drama is definitely around the characters themselves and their friendship, plus there’s also an interesting subplot of overcoming a past trauma. I would classify this as more of a character driven survival drama and not really a horror flick, with that being said I thoroughly enjoyed the movie.
