Great film.Lightly based on the escape by Brenden Abbott from Sir David Longland and the escape from Silverwater in the helicopter.As i said it is only lightly based.They have kinda meshed both escapes into the one escape.How they got some of the factual events correct is a mystery

Reminds me of some friends i had. Very good typical style of Aussie ways in this movie. We don't call anyone mate unless we mean it.
