The world’s favorite blue hedgehog is back for a next-level adventure in SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2. After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search for an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations. Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails, and together they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands.

This was the best thing I have ever experienced. This movie blew my expectations out of the window. It was action packed, well-paced, and the ending had the packed theater I was in go nuckin' futs. No spoilers, though! It's definitely something people of all ages can get into without expecting any pop-culture references they won't get. Ok, maybe one. But still, as I said, anyone of any age, sex, or identity can enjoy this movie to it's fullest. 100/10, would watch on Amazon Prime.

Honestly love how the film stays true to the original series. I love the little references sprinkled through the movie. It really makes it feels special with it following Sonic's history. I like how they followed the same plot with Sonic having to collect the Chaos Emeralds/Master Emerald like in all the Sonic games, especially similar to Sonic 2/3&Knuckles. The way on how they portray the Characters also feel accurate. Can't wait to see the rendition of the Adventure games portrayal in film!!!!

Long time Sonic fan here. This was incredible!! The references were tastefully portrayed and they made Sonic & friends the stars instead of the humans (who were fun but didn't overstay, much appreciated), something the Transformers movies completely failed at. I can't wait for movie 3!
