Die Welt brauchte einen Helden - sie bekam einen Igel. Ausgestattet mit unfassbarer Geschwindigkeit, lebt sich Sonic The Hedgehog (gesprochen von Julien Bam), alias der Blaue Blitz, in seinem neuen Zuhause, der Erde ein. Das heißt, bis er versehentlich das Stromnetz lahmlegt und die Aufmerksamkeit des super uncoolen Genies Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) auf sich zieht. Jetzt heißt es Super-Schurke gegen Super-Sonic in einem Rennen um den Globus, bei dem es aufs Ganze geht und verhindert werden muss, dass Robotnik mit seinen einzigartigen Kräften die Weltherrschaft erlangt. Sonic schließt sich mit dem Donut Lord, alias Sheriff Tom Wachowksi (James Marsden) zusammen, um mit ihm den Planeten zu retten. Eine Live-Action-Komödie, die die ganze Familie lieben wird.

Bewertungen und Rezensionen

Sonic The Hedgehog is a fun adventure movie that does the characters well from the games, though I have not played many of the games yet. It gets hillarious at times, and Jim Carrey does a well job at Robotnik. Good thing they changed Sonic's look as well. The movie seems to do what other movies do in story and what not and there is unesscary gross humor, but it is still a fun film, worthy of the sequel.

Its a good movie. Definitely compared to most videogame movies. It's sad we couldn't see Super Sonic. Or Chaos Emeralds. But that's likely gonna happen in the 2nd film. And we know we are gonna get a sequel since we got Tails in the post credits. Since in the games, Sonic can turn super with all 7 Chaos Emeralds in the second game. Unlike Sonic 1. Which Sonic 2 is where we see Tails. Good film but forgot some important parts of the original game story. Good acting and well put together.

Oh man, this movies comedy is soooo hit or miss, except its almost always miss. The target audience of this film is obviously people who played the games as kids, it tries to take advantage of the nostalgia. The second you peel that away however, the movie is just bland writing/bad jokes/poorly choreographed action scenes.
