Having seen this movie more then a dozen times, and looking up the true story based on this movie. I have to say I have never been more inspired by anyone. I see some of the reviews here and I can't help but wonder why they would discredit such a fantastic story as Soul Surfer, as it is based on a very true and very inspiring story. I find that this movie is one that I watch over and over and over again. It makes you feel part of the story, easy to follow, with an emotional connection so profound between the story and the viewer that I find myself honored to have been able to hear and see this story. The actors in this story have put on a performance of a lifetime, one that seems to resonate with the people who are involved with the original story. Happiness, Anger, Sadness and A driving passion to move forward. Bethany Hamilton did not allow her accident, a freak of nature, to dictate or hold her back from what she LOVES to do. This movie captures that essence and displays it for the world to see. Much love to you Bethany. Thank you for shining brighter despite the blow given to you by nature itself. Thank you for defying what most people find difficult to defy. :)

It looks like a good story is there any chance it has a love story in this or just an amazing inspiring movie .. I usally go for romance but wow the trailer is nice I wanna watch the movie

Soul surfer is an amazing movie it almost makes me feel like i want to try surfing😊, but at the same time im scared of sharks 😣
