Millennials go upstate to an old farm house for a weekend of fun and get more than they bargain for... The gang, including a deaf friend with whom everyone signs, explores the homestead, discovering a hidden ritual room, complete with animal bones & vats of blood. While inebriated and high, they use a demonic spell book and unintentionally conjure up an ancient demon called Beelzebub who has an insatiable appetite for sexual mischief, violence, and soul consumption. This Prince of Hell takes demonic possession to a whole new evil level as the quest that started thousands of years ago to bring destruction on Earth is finally upon us.

Soul to Keep is an extremely well-done film. The plot of the movie kept me extremely hooked as I never knew what type of surprise was going to happen next. I especially admired the acting from Kate Rose Reynolds, who plays a character who is the main focus of the film, as she deals with the demon the most. She truly let the character take over. I’d highly recommend this film if you like exciting horror films.

I like horror films that incorporate real mythology, supernatural elements, and spirituality into it. It’s always interesting to watch those things unfold, and this film executed those elements seamlessly. There is a lot of fun mythology in here about demons and there are a system of rules established by the mythology that everyone has to operate in. It’s really cool. The ensemble cast was incredibly impressive and they each brought something different and unique to the film’s structure.

David Allensworth and Moniere’s new horror film is haunting and creepy, to say the least. This film portrays a group of college friends who stay in one of their grandpa’s houses in a very secluded town. Intoxicated, the friends jokingly talk about summoning a demon and bringing it back to life. After doing so, things begin to get out of hand. Soul to Keep contains jump scares and unpredictable outcomes. Overall, gory and demonic film. Definitely recommend giving it a watch.
