Following their successful mission to Planet Zartog and the capture of the evil alien who controlled it, Ham III, the grandson of the legendary chimpanzee astronaut, is now an astronaut himself at the Space Agency. His team of the lovely lieutenant Luna and wacky, muscle-bound, by-the-book Titan are joined by the young tech-whiz chimp Comet, who longs to be taken seriously as a full-fledged space chimp. On the fantastical Planet Malgor he bonds with the adorable alien Kilowatt, living out his ultimate fantasy. However back on Earth, Zargon has escaped from his imprisonment as a lawn ornament and taken over Mission Control.
