Donnie Yen is Dragon Chan, a Hong Kong undercover police officer deep within the ranks of one of China’s most ruthless underworld gangs. The leader of the gang, Xiong (Collin Chou), has made it his priority to weed out the government infiltrators in his midst. Struggling to keep his family together and his identity concealed, Chan is torn between two worlds. Upping the stakes, as Chan’s undercover comrades are being dealt with, one by one, Chan fears his days are numbered. Now, he must risk everything to take down the organization and reclaim the life he lost when he took on this perilous assignment. As the action mounts, Chan must do everything he can to protect the SPECIAL IDENTITY he wishes he never had before it’s too late.

I enjoyed the movie. The Choreography and stunts performed by all of the actors were amazing, something Donnie Yen never fails to deliver. I am a huge Donnie Yen fan, so I might be a tad biased but it's true that his stunts are probably one of the best in the industry. Now, it may not be the most authentic, like they were back in the days, but they are good enough to the point where an untrained eye, wouldn't notice the amount of cutting and scenes that go on during the film. I prefer raw action, over constant cuts of scenes. Yes, I understand that actors and directors try the their very best to not injure their actors/themselves, but more raw and less edited scenes would be more captivating and engaging. Story wise, the film had a typical Hong Kong Styled Triad, good guy, bad guy, type of thing- nothing too surprising. Nevertheless, it did it's purpose of displaying the different type of stunts and martial art techniques that Donnie wanted to show. It's true, Donnie's films are a testament of his skill. Well done! By the way, watching in Cantonese is the only way you'll be able to fully enjoy the movie. Foreigners should be thankful for the subtitles.

Donnie Yen let me down in this comatose inducing Volvo commercial of a movie. It's actually more like a soap opera, but not as good. When this child screenplay writer graduates middle school I'm pretty sure this will be their biggest embarrassment. The good news is that the last fighting scene looks like two guys rolling.

I love donnie yen, i always loved his movie. however this movie is just plain bad, one of the worst chinese movie i have ever seen. Bad acting, bad stories, obvious product placements (volvo). it's like volvo is the only car brand in the world in this movie.
