Beautiful and brilliant university professor Miranda Hollander is shocked when her uncle reveals that she is not actually human, but an alien hybrid that he and an associate created in a laboratory. When Miranda's bestial alien side emerges with bloody consequences, her uncle rushes her to Mexico, hoping that the associate that helped to create Miranda will be able to help. The two men have little luck at first, but soon come up with a plan for a make her well. However, they soon learn that the consequences for the cure are worse than the disease...

The acting was NOT grade A, the special affects are only just above the sci-fi channels and the storyline could've been better if they had stuck to the original story. All in all B+

the main star of this Species movie try its best to be the successor of the star that play Sil/Eve of the series (the best first 2 movies of the series) even this movie has "ended" there is hope that MGM might do a reboot with Natasha being a reimagined sexy human/alien hybrid that breeds and give birth to its kind maybe in a EPIX series
