About this movie

In this high-flying animated comedy, super spy Lance Sterling (Will Smith) and scientist Walter Beckett (Tom Holland) are almost exact opposites. Lance is smooth, suave and debonair. Walter is none of the above. But this unlikely duo must team up for the ultimate mission to save the world when a "biodynamic concealment" experiment transforms Lance into a brave, fierce, majestic...pigeon!

This movie was really funny, even for 3 grown adults watching it! It did a great job tackling a big moral issue; hate creates more hate, using evil to stop the "bad" guys only creates more evil. Take notes, America, your war tactics are only creating new monsters, within you and in others. That is all :) 10/10 for making me laugh as much as it did.

TLDR: Spies in Disguise is a must watch! The only true thing keeping it from the coveted 5 stars is the fact that it (while enjoyable in every sense) didn't break the mold for these types of movies. It was pretty predictable throughout, complete with all your usual movie tropes but it nails everyone of them. It's the little things that make this movie so amazing. It's pacing was the best part about it, every scene had a purpose and the passive language of the camera tells a story of it's own.

This movie has a great story line and I was absolutely absorbed in the movie. Everything was going good until the end fight scene. Once the battle started I had world war II flashbacks of my little pony. Also it turned into a girly movie!!!!!!!! The amount of nudity in the film is appalling there is a kid that looks at a grown mans body and doesn't even consider to cover his eyes, creepy. I'm just being honest. there is other stuff in this film but I wont bore you. I'll leave you to decide if you're going to watch it. SMH
