A young couple on holiday are car-jacked by an escaped convict. When their tyres are punctured by a dead animal riddled with needle-like splinters they have to take refuge in a deserted gas station. Little do they know that these splinters are from a parasitic organism that transforms its still living victims into deadly hosts. Trapped inside the gas station they realize they have to work together to fight this primal terror and get out alive.

Little gem of a horror. Quite gruesome, good acting, well worth a watch. Lots of very close filming was a a bit irritating but probably helped their budget. Give it a go and enjoy!

With all the bile SyFy dishes out, laughingly called movies, this one that actually entertains. Doesn't leave you regretable for leaving the channel on and watching it.

Great little movie. Low budget gem. Seek this out - you won't be disappointed.
